VPO Daily Reports

The Daily Reports module is used to track the actions occurring on the job site each day.

  1. Select Daily Reports from under the Field Menu and click on +New

    Note:

    There are multiple ways to look at the Daily Reports information with the use of views. The views available are:
    ▪ *All Daily Reports

  2. In the DAILY REPORT Section, enter the following information:

    IMPORTANT:

    Any field with an asterisk * is a required field and must be entered.

    Daily Report Title: A descriptive title for the daily report
    Daily Report Number: This is automatically generated (1,2,3, etc.)

  3. In the GENERAL INFORMATION Section, enter the following:

    Copy from Previous Report: A drop-down to select to copy from a previously entered report
    Reported By: The user who is initiating this Daily Report (This will default to the user entering the daily report but can be modified)
    Report Date: The date the Daily Report is being entered (This will default to the current date but it can be modified)
    Temperature Range: The appropriate range of temperature for the day
    Weather Conditions: Select the appropriate weather conditions (Multiple conditions can be selected)
    Weather Delay: Select Yes if there was a delay due to weather
    Deliveries to the Site: Any notable deliveries to the site
    Acknowledged By: The user who is acknowledging the Daily Report
    Total Workers: System will total the workers from the Manpower tab

  4. Use the MANPOWER Section to enter the following information:

    IMPORTANT:

    Click to add each line item

    Line: Enter the next Line Number
    Manpower Contractor: The contractor providing the manpower (This is populated from the directory)
    Number of Workers: Total workers for the contractor
    Hours: Total hours for the contractor
    Comments: A brief description of the work performed

  5. Use the EQUIPMENT Section to track equipment used on the job and enter the following fields:

    IMPORTANT:

    Click to add each line item

    Line: Enter the next Line Number
    Equipment Type: Select the appropriate equipment type from the drop-down
    Total: Total equipment
    Comments: Any comments about the equipment

  6. Use the VISITORS Section to record visitors to the job site and enter the following fields:

    IMPORTANT:

    Click to add each line item

    Line: Enter the next Line Number
    Visitor Company: Select the company from the drop-down the visitor is from (this is populated from the directory)
    Other: Enter the company name for the visitor (If the company wasn't in the Visitor Company drop-down)
    Comments: Any comments about the visitor

  7. Use the PHOTOS Section to upload photos for the report:

    ▪ Click + New Entry

    IMPORTANT:

    Only one photo per line item

    IMPORTANT:

    When finished entering information, click Save and Continue or Save and Close


    Title: Enter a title for the Photo
    Comments: Enter any comments about the photo
    Photo Link:Click Add or drop a photo

  8. Use the ATTACHMENTS Section to add or view any attachments for the contract

    When finished entering information, click Save and Continue or Save and Close
