If you received an invitation to VPO via a non-Microsoft account such as Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Comcast or any other account that's never been registered to use Microsoft's Live, MSN or Xbox services:
- Click on Accept Invitation.
- VPO will automatically use your non-Microsoft account. Hit Send Code and check your email for a numerical code.
- Enter the numerical code you see in your email and hit Sign In.
- You will then be asked permission to display your profile (name and email) and to record your user activity on VPO. Hit Accept if to access the project.
- For extra security, you will be asked to set up a multifactor authentication to access VPO. Hit Next to begin setting it up and follow the instructions in the following screens.
- If you wish to use Microsoft Authenticator, download the app on your phone from your app store and hit Next and follow the instructions on your screen.
Once you’ve authenticated with Microsoft Authenticator (or another authenticator of your choice), you should be in VPO! We recommend bookmarking the project site once you’ve accessed it so you can find it again./div>
