Action Items

The Action Items module is used to manage and track formal requests to individuals or groups to perform specific tasks.

  1. Click Action Items. This link usually appears in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen on the project homepage, under the Logs header.

    Note:

    Action Items can be reviewed with several preset views. For more detail on views, please see Creating a New View.

  2. Click New at the top of the page to create a new Action Item, then complete the following sections.

    Notes:

    - Any field with an asterisk (*) is a required field and must be entered.
    - For more information on the Ball-In-Court and Cc fields, see Ball-in-Court and Cc Notifications.

  3. Enter General Information.
  4. Enter Discussion itemsEach Discussion entry will note the user's name and timestamp.
  5. Add or view relevant Attachments. For more details on attachments, see Attaching Files in VPO.
  6. When complete, click Save and Close at the bottom of the page.
